Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried thyme
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon or brush the maple mustard glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
If desired, broil for the last 1-2 minutes to get a slightly caramelized top, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure the salmon is cooked through but not overcooked to maintain its moistness.
Adjust the amount of mustard and maple syrup to your preference.
Broiling at the end is optional but adds a nice caramelization. Watch closely to avoid burning.
